It is sad that in Nepal people are still discriminated in work because of their sexual orientation.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7 - 3.After detaining them for months, the Nepali Army has fired two of its female staffers charging them of being lesbians.
Rohini and Shama (real names changed for obvious reasons) were dismissed from military service on July 17. Before being discharged from the service, Rohini was detained for 60 days and Shama for 45 days for being involved in an immoral act". .
Rohini said they were dismissed from service on the charge of being lesbians. Rohini was a physical training instructor and Shama a second-lieutenant trainee at the Nepali Army's Training Centre at Kharipati, Bhaktapur. Talking to The Kathmandu Post, Rohini said the charges against them were baseless.
