San Franscisco is beautiful.. but there are more jobs (professional) in the east coast NY/NJ area. I prefer places where there are lots of opportunities and no ghetto people around.

There's something to every city. Boston, where I live, is one of my favorites for its rich culture and history, it's intellectual circles, arts and music, great restaurants, diversity and progressive thinking. I can be myself in this place without having to be conscious about my national origin or race, political persuassion, age, gender, sexual orientation etc etc. That's true of many major cities in the US too, albeit, to different degrees. Other favorite cities of mine are San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles, Washington.

I would say North West. East or West Washington is the best (for now).

Los Angelos! my first step to america. lived there for 3 days in hotel Sheraton and everything was sponsored by singapore airline, everything was free in the hotel like travel , food and sometime bed mate too. really enjoyed the ill fate of singapore airlines that moment. they had to pay me 1300 as a penalty that time. i went to beverly hills, hollywood and pacific beach. really love that place and next is my Oklahoma , Stillwater which is also wonderful land for nepali and if you dont like these places then come to washington dc, where i am living these days.

I'd say Minneapolis/St. Paul if you are looking for a big city expierence without the big city expenses. Has lot of potential career oppurnuties and moderate housing expense. Nice neighbourhood and the largest mall in America that too no tax on books and clothes.
