Hey green card congratulations!

You have both options ( adjustment of status (AOS) through USCIS or consular processing (CP) back from Nepal) open since you are already in US. Both options have pros and cons. If you are currently living in a city where local USCIS office is located and your case number is lower than 4000, AOS should work fine. Usuall AOS takes longer than CP because you have to go through the finger printing and your criminal record check through the FBI. They can be quite time consuming and frustating. If your case number is high, most likely that you may not get interview even if your number is current because of time consuming process of record check. Benifit of AOS is that you don't have to go Nepal that means less expensive.
The benifit of the CP is less hassle because once you return the filled forms you simply wait for the second letter when your case number becomes current. KCC takes care of the criminal record checks etc. for you. You will get a chance to visit Nepal and your family which is price less. Study the situation and make wise decision. Good luck
One BhuktaBhogi.

Mary, I'm as serious as they come. Now, can we seriously play? ;)

How dark is dark enough and how serious a little too much? Any ground rules or anything's fair? :p

Let me try that in Nepali just for the heck of it: "Ma chu ni!"

Nah... doesn't sound quite right! So, umm... what were ya sayin! :)

No need to go back home. when u fill your first letter they will ask where u want to be interviewed and ask for Toronto or wher ever and will be straighten out. Its very simple and they are real co-operative unless those nepalese people working in US Embassy in Nepal. They are most idiots (including the guards and that Grey haired Khetri Chettri guy in visa section) but the girls in the main door are nice though..wink..wink

Love? *Drools*

*Starry-eyed* I leave my wicket open for you to clean bowl me. ;)

[Don't worry about the thread, one or two more sensible/thread related postings, I cease to post crap. But sans those, anything goes. Think of it, if we never posted crap here, Mr. Bibby would not have seen this thread to furnish useful suggestion. If Mr.Green Card himself would oppose, we politely take a hike. He he! ]

Now, *do you feel my heart beating, do you understand, do you feel the same?* he he!

Uff Mohabbat!~
IndisGuise;)
