अमेरिकाको नर्थ क्यारोलिनाका २० वर्षीय प्रसन नेपाललाई एक अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बाल यौन शोषण सञ्जाल चलाएको अभियोगमा पक्राउ गरिएको छ। “७६४ ” नामको यो संजाललाई चरमपन्थी र सामाजिक संरचना नष्ट गर्ने उद्देश्य राख्ने खतरनाक बिधुतिय (अनलाइन )गिरोहको रूपमा वर्णन गरिएको छ।
यिनी नर्थ क्यारोलाइनाको हाइ प्वाइन्ट शहरका हुन् ।
प्रसन नेपाल, जसको बिधुतिय नाम “Trippy” ट्रीपी रहेको बताइएको छ, केही दिनअघि पक्राउ परेपछि वाशिङ्टन डी.सी. मा संघीय अदालतमा हाजिर भएका थिए। संघीय दस्तावेज अनुसार, उनले ७६४ सञ्जालको स्थापना गरेका थिए र अझै पनि नियन्त्रणमा राखिरहेका थिए। अदालतमा उनले यो कुरा स्वीकार गरेका छन्।
यो सञ्जालले बालबालिकालाई लक्षित गरी यौन शोषण, डर, धम्की र दुर्व्यवहारमार्फत विश्वभर आपराधिक गतिविधि गर्दै आएको थियो। अनुसन्धान अनुसार, कम्तीमा ८ जना नाबालकहरू विभिन्न स्थानहरूबाट शोषणमा परेका थिए, तीमध्ये केही बालबालिका १३ वर्षका मात्र थिए।
सञ्जालको अर्को नेता लियोनिदास वरागियानिस (उपनाम “वार “) लाई समेत ग्रिसबाट पक्राउ गरिएको छ। अमेरिकी महान्यायाधिवक्ता पामेला बन्डीले भनिन्, “यी अभियुक्तहरूले बालशोषणलाई योजनाबद्ध रुपमा आतंक र उत्पीडनमा आधारितसंजाल निर्माण गरेका थिए।”
यदि प्रसन नेपाल दोषी ठहर भएमा, उनलाई आजीवन कारावास सजाय हुन सक्ने स्थानीय बिदेशी पत्रिकाले उल्लेख गरेको छ । उनको परिवारले यो कुरामा आफूहरू अचम्मित भएको बताए। अहिले मुद्दा वाशिङ्टन डी.सी. मा सरिरहेको छ।
यस्ता आपराधिक सञ्जालविरुद्ध विश्वव्यापी कानुनी कदम आवश्यक भएकोमा अधिकारीहरूले जोड दिएका छन्।
