Agreed with Cyka, to add on top of that, what makes you feel like 100k matters. I think you are one of those guys who like to show off their salary but ain't got anything else to show off. Be classy man. Tell people your traits not your salary :D.

Here is my three line analogy.
You make 100+K without paper. Something odd here.
If you are in IT and making 100+K, you must have worked at least 6-7 years.
Working 6-7 years will certainly help you to be in at least in EAD.
So how do you relate your legal status vs 100+K UNLESS your work is...I don't know.
