i have some question relating to momo.


1. How to make momo juicy? nepal ma khada kheri kasto juicy hunthiyo, tesko ko lagi k garne hola? k ingredients misaune hola??


2. I am sure many of you have eaten at Sumai restaurant Teku. How to make badam ko achar like they do. tried many times with penut but doesnt come out like that.


3. I have seen in momo pasal in nepal that they cut out the dough in circles and put oil in between and stack them to use later. I am not really sure if oil could be used for that purpose. wont it stick?? also if any one knows, how can those dough circles be preserved so that they can be used after like 2 hours.


i am sure there are many momo experts here in sajha. i will appreciate your suggestions. thank you in advance for looking at this post.

1. juicy momo needs fat, get fatty meat, or add some fat.

3. i just buy a stack of pre cut dough (dumpling wrapper or whatever they call it)

you need to take momo course. i give momo course. it's a 7 hour course (1 hour a day for 7 days) for $100. after this course, you get expert momo certificate.

One way you can do is by grinding onions (u need a lot of them), and mix it with the ingredients(chicken or vegetables)  or when u go to buy keema u can ask them to give u some fats(goat's are usually good)...
this will make momo juicy...yum,,,,,

as abt the achar,,was it sesame (teel) ko achar....i am not sure what kind of achar u are talking abt..

1. use butter , butter lai tatayera kima jhanne ani juicy huncha ..

3. When u buy the wanton wrapper , buy the 1 which is the thickest , it will make momo gud.

nyshangal......i mix onions but they are somewhat juicy but not as juicy as in ktm. thanks for your suggestion. will surely try that.


kalyx....k ho kasle bhanyo kaju ko achar?? peanuts bhaneko ta jaha samma lagchha badam ho. ki biology le dimag khayo. aba jado ma juicy momo khana parena ta gathe?

Add water to the momo masu ani "jhanofy" with butter.

Ani tyo peanut wala achar:

Grind peanuts, blend tomatoes and lasun and aduwa. Cook tomatoes, lasun, aduwa paste in a pan with besar and a little bit of garam masala. You can then add the peanuts and cook on low heat. After a while add some water and cook for a little bit. It should come out right..

Kaji, the trick is water+fat, onions hala.. tara dherai nahala, swad bigrincha

Sumai ko badam ko chutney... taha bhayena... tara if you figure out how to make it, make sure you post it. Me is going to Nepal and if I figure it out.. I will be sure to post it!!

blahblahblah and san_deep..........muri muri dhanyabad. i will try those.


san_deep....make sure you go to sumai restaurant in teku.......the first restaurant in nepal to introduce open momo. they give you like 3 different types of sauce. they taste really good. if you find out, please kindly post here.

haha I know bro, Sumai momo's the best. Samjhidai crazy banai dincha... Tara I do not think they will just give me the recipe. I remember asking them YEARSSS back, and they told me that its their "secret recipe". Nonetheless, I will try again!!
