And finally, Hulaki heads for the Jumla airport. …. Where human dignity is brutally crushed by the monkey business of air operators, corrupted politicians and burocrats….. we shall overcome some day……………….

Hulaki dai,

Can you bring up some information regarding what's easiest way to get there and how much budget you need to have for one week of trip including plane fair and which is the best time to visit etc....?

May be many people want to visit those heavenly places of our own land.

Thanks and Really nice work.

A lot of the surrounding areas have no trees--the hills are barren. The problems due to deforestation in the region could't be any worse. I am sure it has become much harder for the folks there, especially women, because of this deforestation.

Anyone who goes there or are planning to go there, please take few seedlings and spread word about the problems due to deforestation. Then, you will  at least help to ameliorate the lives of these people (in the longe term) than just being a tourist in your own country.

I saw dozens saw mills being erected there in jumla.... this year.... in every village a saw mill is being built.... a clear indication of timber smuggling.... I saw youth in each village carrying timber to the saw mills.... the highway link will definitely accelerate deforestation....

However, the No 1 problem in Karnali is awareness on health and hygiene, nutrition and women empowerment..................
