Hi, I am on my OPT. I got a job offer from this really good company. The company is not e-verified and is not willing to go through the enrollment of e-verification process just for me. Is there any way to convince them to enroll in the e-verification process? Is there any different route to work around it? Any answers would be really helpful. Thanks, P

I was in similar situation couple of years ago when I was in OPT. I started working with them and later requested them to e-verify their company. My HR lady sat one morning and finished it in an hour. It used to be easy process with questionnaires and couple of forms. Don't know if it's the same now. It is good for company itself to be e-verified. May be your company doesn't know pros and cons of e-verification. May be they don't even want to understand. Either way I wish you good luck in convincing them.

Right now i am in the same situation.. Even being state university it is not e-verified. I did not think about that when I got the offer.. Thus I had to find a new employer to extend my Opt. If you know some indian concultancies they might want to give you a letter indicating you work for them with I983 training plan and get the referral from your DSO...and you might be able to continue to work for the same company.. a tedious process though.. And that consultancies might ask for some money as well... I advise you take that offer and while working you can find another job with an employer who is e-verified .... Best.
