I have some loan in Nepal and would like to pay that amount in full. Is there any bank/credit union which approves personal loan with minimum APR in US which I can send Nepal? I am approved for $25K from American Express with 11.95% APR. Looking for any other CU which approves me on less than that APR for same or little bit more than this amount Appreciate if you share your experience.

you may consider to apply with discover and lending club. Discover gave me 7.99 % APR couple of years ago. I have recently used balance transfer via discover, which has given me 0% apr with 2% fees for 12 months. If you have good credit balance transfer is very good option. You may ask them to deposit money directly to your checking. Hope this is helpful.

Jaka bro Thanks for your input. But, if we apply from credit card, they don't allow balance transfer of the amount I am looking for. They would just have 30-40% of total credit max. Isnt it?

Jaka----, credit balance transfer to checking account?, i was thinking like that before but they transfer to your credit card account NOT the checking account, that was clarified by chase bank lender when i stopped by local bank's branch. Daure, you may see lots of lender they offer advertised low rate but when they finalized everything they come up with some big numbers, last month i got personal loan from local credit union 9.9% interest rate $80 bonus and first repayment after 3 months ,no early payment penalty,(amount was 15K.). so i recommend you to try first with local union they easy to communicate and not much paper work big lender i guess little complicated and they charge unnecessary service fees. Good Luck...

30 - 40% of your total credit line might be your cash withdrawal from credit card. Balance transfer is different. You can get up to your credit line; fees will be inclusive. I have seen all of bank sending me balance transfer checks these days, you must be getting those offer too.

gaulejetho bro, I just got deposited fund to my checking account last week, so I am sure they can deposit to your checking. I talked with BOA and Discover bank and Discover was better deal, but 12 month is interest free, after that you will be charged 18 percent or close to that. It is best option when we are planning to pay back in a year or so. They also offer 4% or 3% apr from the starting and there will be no fees. I have seen most of those offers are 18 months. I have seen multiple bank sending those so I have been looking for the best deal.

If you have excellent credit, i recommend you to try Suntrust Lightstream loan. Money will be in your account within 4 hours. You mentioned you need large amount of loan so they might contact you to email a copy of your pay check. If you have good income with excellent credit your APR wont be more than 2.99
