Guys, This is what my lawyer says: Attendees of an AILA conference in Las Vegas were given an H-1B update from the USCIS Associate Director for Domestic Operations, Michael Aytes. The H-1B random number generator is being run today, April 12, 2007 for non-U.S. Master's degree cap subject H-1B petitions. Adjudication of chosen petitions will begin tomorrow, April 13, 2007. I hope we all will get it. Good Luck.

Lahurey, Non-US masters degree should imply Masters degree from the country other than US, I guess. It should not necessarily be People without Master's degree.

ashishg391 As of April 10,2007 this was the status "USCIS received on April 2 and 3 a total of approximately 12,989 cases requesting an exemption from the FY 2008 H-1B cap because they were filed on behalf of aliens holding a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. institution. USCIS can now announce that the cap of 20,000 on these exempt cases remains open and that USCIS will continue to monitor these filings."
