Thanks for your post. Yes, Bocelli has the most amazing of all voices - I find his voice to have both depth and substance aplenty. He sings with such intensity and feeling a few singer can emulate in their craft, and he does doubtless rank top in the classical cohort of his generation and beyond. My introduction to Bocelli goes back several years - I remember seeing him do a duet with Sarah Brightman on tele some ten years ago. I have been an avid fan of his ever since.

"I recenlty found out that Bocelli is "BLIND":" Nature's gruesome cruelty perhaps. The physical disability & men of genius: I always find this aspect of the artistic output ever so intrigueing. How very ironic eh! Beethoven was deaf, and yet ended up writing scores of sonatas, concertos and symphonies - his sonatas - Moonlight Sonata, Pathetique; and the 9th symphony being my fav.
