Excerpt of an Email I received!! .....One of my classmates (SLC Year 2051) Mr Atish Gorkhali was one of those men who lost his life when a RNA chopper crashed near Malangwa. He was serving as a flight engineer Captain in the Army after completion of his engineering course. ..... I believe the names of the deceased including his have not been made public yet. Let's pray for the demised soul. I don't know if EGBOSA (if it exists at all in Ktm) would be willing to arrange some sort of a mourning programme in the days to come... ===================== May His soul RIP!! sym

It is indeed a sad and shocking news to all EXGBS students. I also happen to know this guy, he was 3 batch juinor to me, quite nice and friendly guy. I hope all EX- GBS students should pray for his soul, so that it may rest in peace.I hope we should be proud that he served in RNA and died young by giving his life to the nation. May pashupathinath give a strength to bear this sorrow and grief to his family and relatives.

I am so much deeply hurt by losing my best classmate. I wish he had never joined RNA. This is same like Krishna Mohan Shrestha was killed for NOTHING.. but for their hideous eveil minds of Maoists and Royal Monarchy.

We used to play soccer. I think he was from Seti house. He was skinny but fast. Just feels like it was yesterday. He was from Hetauda. May his soul rest in peace.

Last time I met him was like three years back infront of Nanglo cafe in Durbar Marg. He was in a formal attire and looked very smart. There was an air of confidence when he spoke and he was very professional. He was different from how he was when in school. Back then I recall him being a bit shy and not too articulate. Its a loss. A big loss. I have seen very few ex gbs students who are focused and confident in what they do. He fell to that category of excellence. May he rest in peace. And wish to express my condolence to the bereaved family.

Certainly its sad that you guys lost your friend..But he had gone there for war. He was a part of team who had gone to open fire and drop bombs to the maoists who are also Nepalis. There are also people like you who are mourning for the loss of their loved ones, killed by the bombs dropped by your friend and his team. Its sad that he sacrificed his life for Gyane and only for Gyane, not for nation. Majority of the nation is against Gyane and his rule. All army and police personnels get paid by the hard earned tax money of the people but they fight against the people and for the protection of an individual-Gyane. Now, time has come. Army and policemen have to drop their weapons and join the peaceful movement of the people.
