Guys, This question has been haunting me since last couple of days. I have got everything anyone will ever ask for. Name, fame, money, power, love life you name it and above all personal SATISFACTION. Is there anything in the world which is not possible? Please share your experiences, if you have any!!!

With all due respect,I have to disagree with u_day here. Peace is possible and it is possible through some practical steps that we have to take in order to achieve it..We are reflection of our minds.If we let peace prevail in our minds we will experience peace wherever we go.All the wars of the worlds are the result of skepticism that we build in our ourselves about the possibility of that peaceful state. Back to the question Mr. Lonely has put forward, Name, fame, money, power, love life they are all temporary.The joy you derive from these possession are temporary as well.They look good for feel-good experience but in reality they are more harmful than the feeling that you experience in their absence. What is though near impossible is our passion for name,fame,money,power,a perfect relationship.Who wouldn't want to be rich,famous,all powerful and date miss universe at the same time.But even under this scenario one would not discover real happiness.Armed with all the possibilities life can offer one becomes a victim of ego-state menatlity.That ego then becomes the greatest obstacle in achiving happiness. We have already shut the doors of real personal satisfaction once we become a slave to these cravings. Mr.Lonely don't feel discontent about not having all that you have mentioned.Enjoy lif eto the fullest in their absance.You have achieved happiness then.And don't get lonely.How can you be when there are six billion out there?:-)

The title of this thread reminds me of the song, i think it is from Zakhmee (?) _____ Nothing is impossible, _____ कहेताहुँ मै सबसे खुल, _____ आवो नाचो मेरी जान comm'on com'on :=)

Sona, 1. You can clap with one hand; ask someone to lend a hand ;-) 2. You can erase your memory; that's what old age is about 3. you can reverse the river, I am sure you have heard of कुरो र कुलो लाई जता लागे पानि हुन्छ, invest zillions and it is possible. 4. Your past will never stop hunting you, cannot say much about that but you can be a monk to get over your daunting past. I am thinking of Ashoka who became a monk to "get over" his past so can you :-) In zest, ShiV

Chicken.little, It is not a matter of getting things or having things, it is knowing what you have. No one can fill your void. Only you can. -shiv
