Fellas, A good Samsung LCD 32 incher is available in Ktm for around 40000. Stop thinking about sending the tv, send some money. My parents just bought one before dashian. Also if the TV is sent from here the Excise Taxes are more expensive than the TV.

The best way is buy a large monitor which can be used as TV hooking TV line are much cheaper than regular TV. They are HD too. If you want to bring one bring that has PAL system and which is about 400-500 dollars, and if you pay Rs500 per inchc add 1500 on the top as well think of Baggage size, You may end up paying another 120 dollars (worst case).

taking TV to Nepal? Dude are you guys ok? Hope you guys didn't leave Nepal when TV was big thing in Nepal. No more mate. Nepal have everything in almost same price as abroad. If you will be taking TV, the people from Airport will ask you..whether you have come from malaysia or Saudi Arabia? Because our brothers who have gone there from labour work bring back TVs. But you guys from USA want to take TV to Nepal? that also 32 inch....seriously guys...your neighbour will make fun of you. If you seriously want to take something...take good quality projector...atleast something different.
