Go for Avast Home edition. Its free but need to register after 60 days. Just use it for 60 days. They will send you the registration key at your email. Here is the link: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html You have to renew the registration every year but free of cost for home edition and licensed to use at home only.

Bro try Avast free edition, as shivanagar said and that's what I use. AVG free edition is also not bad according to my personal use but it started having regular update issue, like I have to update manually.

Folks; As you suggested I installed Avast free edition last month. Now, every time I start my pc get the message that it's going to expire soon and I need to buy it's yearly package. It's been same like AVG. I am stuck with options and request for your help.

Avast anti-virus is good for sure. It protects much better than Norton anitvirus 2007. Guys, keep both malwarebytes' anti-malware and avast antivirus, coz we need both to fully protect from spam and virus, and one doesn't interferer to other.
