Hey Guys,
One of my sister is pregnant of 5 months. Last time, she checked up at mexico as she used to work on cruise and the doctor there prescribed to take a kind of multi-vitamin. Right now, she is at DFW area, and we went to CVS pharmacy to get that medicine as we r out, but the doctor said that it is international precription and need other additional documents and all.
Do u guys know any Nepali doctor around DFW area or who can give us prescription here.
I would really be great for ur help.

I am not sure why you are looking for a NEPALI doctor. If you want the doctor to write just a prescription to purchase the drug you want from CVS, then I don't think that is a good idea. If you want to have checkup and prescription, and if you feel more comfortable with a Nepali doctor than others, then you may wanna make that clear in the post.
If there is no serious complication, and you are just looking for vitamines, then there are many types of prenatal vitamins for pregnant women, which you can buy over the counter. If you are looking for particular brand or compositions, you can google them easily. Generally prenatal vitamins, iron-supplement and foliac acids are suggested for pregnant women. I rather suggest avoid medicine intake and promote healthy foods - fruits, seafood etc. I will be glad if you find my opinion useful.

Prenatal Vitamins you can get them over the counter.prenatal vitamins generally contain 800 mcg of folic acid. Prescription-strength prenatal vitamins generally have 1,000 mcg, also labeled 1 mg.may be in some store u can find 1000 mcg without presciption like try vit store or buy 800mcg folic acid prenatal than buy 400 mcg folic acid than break them in half than u can take 1 prenatal with 800mcg + half 400 mcg folic acid .Good luck to your sister.

Chana tarkari and frens,
Thank you for ur suggestion. The check up is necessary in every month and theycharge for high bills, but all they do is the prescription of multi-vitamins. We went in CVS for that, but a indian guy there told us that they need special prescription from doctor being international as we cheked up in mexico last time. I am actually in search of cheap place for check up or a doctor who can write us a prescription letter only. But, thank you for your help guys.

As the pregancy goes closer to the due date, it is better to have a back up plan in case of complication. Especially if it is first time pregnant, we advise to have some back up plan.
Visit local parenthood or WIC program, they will give you excellent information as well services. I urge to have monthly check up and a place you can call and get immediate help in case you need advice. Our advice is non-professional; you need professional and in-person help too.
Do not rely on sajha.Kuraki, rather find local health services as I said, start from WIC and similar programs. There must be some program that will help you to get through the pregnacny. You do not know the pain and pleasure of carrying baby for 40 weeks.
Good Luck.
