The following is a question after Mr. Ian Martin's report on maoists & their weapons, submitted on Feb. 23, 2007:
Can someone answer this question: about 31,000 maobadi have surrendered 3,100 weapons!!!!!!!!

Even a KG student can ASK 'what about the rest of the weapons?'

Also the UN in its report today said: " WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL WEAPONS HAVE BEEN SURRENDERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

IS THIS NOT Simply BRILLIANT!

After wasting the money of UN & Nepal Govt these UN Inspectors have done NOTHING.

It is known that whenever UN is involved there is a mess.
However, for our Nepal this mess IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

I just can't believe why people still trust Maoist. Never trust them, they have played game in the past and they will play it again.

I'm more concerned for the thousands of 20-odd year olds who have now all of a sudden found themselves literally on the streets. I mean that youthfulness of 18-22 was the age they served for the maoist army when they could have been looking to decide a career for themselves. Even granted that there'll be an interim govt, and granted that Nepal will be a republic in the long run, I wonder what rehab plans Prachanda & Co have for their ex-army now. I am concerned because I can see some 25,000+ young people jobless, uneducated, dreamless, clueless, and forced to get into cheap labor jobs for the lack of alternatives. You might kick the king out, which is good for a budding democracy, but then that doesn't solve anything if you look at the future of each individual in the ex-army. The lost formative years of each individual is an irrepairable loss.

I am not sure if the maoist think-tank has any cover-up plan for them. I mean come on, it's not realistic; you can't now get each of them to where they would have been were they not forced into the maoist army 6-7 year ago.

Everybody knows that these terrorist wont win anything if they go to election. They have the strategy of TALIBAN did in AFGANISTAN.

Let me tell you bros about the likely consequences if the atankabadis were able to hold a strong position in the parliament after the elections. All the teenagers and 20 plus atankabadis will found themselves as severely battered and fked over and over again! The fools will then realize that Nepal isn't rich enough to even consider establishing a separate maoist atankabadi camps and headquarters as they've been planned. Given that the atankabadis have seized a lot of property, a chaos might occur, this time all the young rebels betraying their leaders and going to Arabian countries for employment. I can't really rule that situation from occuring. It's highly unlikelythat Maobadis will win the elections that's where all the hiding will come into play. By hook or crook, the maoists want to dominate the parliament and take over Nepal's governance. How dearly would I love to see the maobadis getting their heads shoved into each others asses by Armies and Police force. These cowards are total disgrace! Baburam has set an example and has led to births to idiots like Soktim by telling us that it's not how much you've learnt and what you know that matters but it's how you imply the knowledge. Who cares that Baburam is an intelligent human being as long as he doesn't imply it towards the welfare of Nepalese. I shall never stop staying Jay Desh Jay Naresh.

Prachanda responses about weapon is illogical and how people of 21st century believe such response ...Maoist who believe gun then people how their weapon brunt out and flow away by rivers...thier gurrillas were always seem to sincere to protect their weapon ....So it is really ridiculus saying.....Only Maoist leaders, cadres ...and Krishna Pd. sitaula...who is backed by maoist and he is working like the follower and suppor of parchanda to save his home ministry can believe......But rest of the common people don't believe such statement..................Maoist still not demonstrate that they are following path of peace ......they can not leave the politics of weapon ...threat ...murder ...so on.....because they believe that people will support and remain silence when we do politics such a way.....
