यस्तो कटु सत्य हाम्रो अगाडि हुँदाहुँदै पनि अहिले आएर हाम्रो आन्तरिक मामलामा भारतले बढि चासो लिएको देखिन्छ, यसैलाई कारण देखाउँदै सार्क सम्मेलनलाई पछाडि सार्ने काम हुँदैछ।प्रजातन्त्रको नाममा देशलाई सति पठाउने, लाउडा बिमान काण्डका नायक तथा हवल्लदार पदका दाबेदार गिरिजा प्रसाद कोइराला यो देशको प्रधानमन्त्रीको कुर्सिमा १३ वर्षको अबधिमा आधाभन्दा बढि समय बसिसकेको तथ्य हाम्रो सामु छिपेको छैन। उही बसिरहेकै बेला माओबादी समस्याले जरो टेकेको थियो, देशमा भ्रस्टाचारले सिमा नाघेको थियो।
त्यतीखेरदेखि हिजोसम्म मुकदर्शक हाम्रो छिमेकी रास्ट्र भारत आज आएर गोहीका आँसु चुहाउँदै छ,र फेरि हाम्रो आन्तरिक मामलामा खुब चासो राख्ने ठुल्दाइ पल्टेको छ। यो कुनै पनि स्वाभिमानी नेपालीलाई स्वादिलो कुरा हैन।

त्यही भारतको कन्तो खन्ने र त्यहीँ गएर लुकेर भुमिगत बसेर देशको सशस्त्र आन्दोलानलाई निदेर्शन दिने हाम्रा माओबादी नेताहरु पनि नाजायज नै हुन् र उही हाँगोमा टेकेर उही हाँगोलाई काट्ने कालिदास भन्दा माथि छन् जस्तो मलाई लाग्दैन।
चन्द्रशेखरको जुठो प्रजातन्त्र आज १४ वर्षमै फर्क्यो ।
अब हामी सबै नपालीहरुले देश बचाउनु पर्ने बेला आएको छ। अनि त्यसपछि बल्ल तन्त्रको कुरा आउँछ, प्रजातन्त्र, गणतन्त्र, राजतन्त्र के तन्त्र के तन्त्र नेपालीहरुले नेपालमा ल्याएको चोखो तन्त्र नै टिकाउ हुनेछ!
देशमा आपत्ती परेको दु:खको यस घडिमा हामी सबै नेपालीहरु सम्यमित भएर एक ढिक्का भएर देशको लागि मरौँ राजाको लागि पनि हैन, नेताको लागि पनि हैन, केवल नेपालका लागि र अनि नेपाली जातिका लागि।

I don't think the King should be running the country, let me begin with this personal statement. The nation should be run by only those who are fairly elected as the representatives of the citizens. The system of government should be open not closed.

Democracy in Nepal pretty much existed only on speeches. Democracy for the most part was nothing more than rhetoric and a magi khane bhado.

Maoist issue is a socio-economic issue and cannot be solved with political slogans. However, it takes several years for socio-economic measures to show tangible effects. This is where significance of political process comes into play. Political processes should pave the way for socio-economic development.

Political parties in Nepal are running through quite a parochial idealism. National interest is nothing more than a concept like democracy for the so called leaders. The king who has never been tested by the people introduces himself as the reflection of his citizens. I don't understand this. Almost all those so called leaders (bunch of them were elected representatives) wag their tails in front of the king. Why? I don't understand this as well. If they are backed by the people, why are they subdued in front of a symbolic force? These political parties should have been together for the national interest and deliver their decisions to the king not seek his blessings. If the king does not agree with what the representatives of the people say, let him do what he can do. He won't be able to do a thing.

About the peace talk with Maoists. What is there to talk about? The govenment should offer initiatives for the Maoists to come to the table. What is there to bargain? This must be clear. It is absurd to think that one press release from Prachanda settles Maoists movement.

The nation is going through a rough period. Whether the crown remains at Hanumandhoka or at the museum is not the real issue now. The question that we need to deal with right now is how can we uplift our badly ailing socio-economic condition. Political quarters should lead the way now.

Peace is vital for any political, or socio-ecomoic process to move on. Right now peace is heavily dependent upon Maoists. If palace wants peace, it should listen to Maoists. Maoists are also patriotic Nepalis as most of us. I denouce their cruelty, and violence but the cause of their movement cannot be ignored.

But I worry why India is so conscious in this matter.

No! Completely No! Only for its own shake. There are many reasons behind it...

King and Maoists, both are evils! Maoists killed thousands of nepali, so did King's army. Army rarely could kill real maoists, they killed innocent people.

Maoists extorted money from people, and business men. King's and his army extorted money through rasing tax and increasing their budget!

They are two evils! Nepalis will have to wait till they destroy each other!!
