Avinash Bajracharya, a current UTA student and an alumnus of St. Xaviers School Class of 2000 got involved in a car accident this morning around 11am and was pronounced dead by paramedics on the way to the hospital. He was a good friend, great scholar and a very humble person. May his soul rest in peace after his untimely demise. -- Cowboy

Guys this thread is about a sad untimely event and it is not nice to start using bad and abusive language in this thread. Please show some respect to the victim of the accident. If someone like soktim does not show same respect them you can leave him alone. Once you start behaving like soktim you are beginning to lose respect as well.

Posted on 02-21-07 11:05 AM Reply | Notify Admin k, Lets talk seriously Mr. Soktim.....I dont know who u are...But i definately can tell that you are one of those lucky student who got good scholarship....and AS WELL YOU ALSO VERY NARROW MINDED WHO DOES NOT HAVE RESPECT TO OTHER HARD WORKING STUDENTS. Let me clarify, The first thing is everybody does not get scholarship like you did. There are thousands of schorship available for international student and there are millions applying for it..Now the point is, the students who does not gets the scholarship can go to school paying their tution from their personal funding or not???U mean that education should be limited only to those people who gets scholarship????not to the students who does not get schoalrship??? If some students does not gets scholarship and if he/she wants to continue his/her education from personal funding such as from parents/loan or working then nobody including you should have any problem..... You should be proud of those students who didnt get any scholarship and are working their as@@ss off to pay their tution and bill rather than giving bad coments and harrishing to them. Mr Saktim....let me make you clear....I think its billions time good idea to work and continue school rather than staying in home being fraustrated and diapointed for not getting any scholarship. And the last but not least!!!!!You dont take shower with dirty waters and try to convice people that you are one of the most clean person....

s well what abt your coments to Mr Avi.....who did in car accident.... You think that you are the most smartest and intelligent nepali student in USA but you are one of the bullshit person I have ever encountered... Mr. Smart Shoktim ji.....You need to think that THING HAPPENS SOMETIMES.....EVENTHOUGH WE DONT WANT TO!!!! If your dad dies in traffic accident back in Nepal would you express same type of comments....(Fking shit why should he drive or ride....I dont care....me dad was a piece of shit...he should have walked rather than driving!!!I dont f\give a f@ck about my dad) Or how would you feel if some body tells you these words in ur dad or moms death like you did to Avi?? U got to answer me My Smart Soktim!!!!

While I wish for his family enough courage to go through such difficult times, I would also like to remind everyone that this incident should be taken as a lesson to not speed and put others' lives in danger. One may enjoy the thrill of speeding, but by doing so, he is putting others' lives in danger as well. Looking at another side of the incident, it was fortunate that there were no other lives lost. That 2 yr old baby, or the driver of the SUV that got hit by Avi's car could have died for no apparent reason than someone trying to enjoy speeding. And same goes for drunk driving as well. You just become hazardous to public.

I am as equally sorry for his incident as most of you. However, I am also amazed by the stupidity he did to bring his own end. I sincerely pray for an eternal peace to the departed soul. May his family be able to get strength at this time of tragedy brought about by this irreperable loss. Those of you who claim to be his GOOD friends are also in one way or the other responsible for this. TELL ME HOW MANY OF YOU KNEW ABOUT HIS RACING INSTINCT? DID YOU EVER CARE TO WARN HIM OR SCOLD HIM FOR THIS????? WAS HE NASCAR ADDICT OR WHAT? Just because you all feel sad about his demise does not make you all his good friends!

soktim, ya we all know that it was his mistake....but it does not meman that you have to use all those bad words to him...You could simply have told that he died because of his mistake right???

soktim, What do you think that he wanted to end his life by his stupidity. Is speeding the only factor that your conscience concludes him as stupid? What if your father from nepal ask you" bete USA me gadi mata chalana, loog mar marrahe hay" so u give up driving here. Not speedin but car racing certainly was his hobby. He always do that. This time he was little rough. It does not mean he is stupid. It does not mean he deserves your" fa*k, stupid, asss statement" Don't back up your statement by explaing how smart you are and how much scholarship you have. There are thousand of nepalese better than you. We had told him many times not to speed. He says his normal speed is 75 mph. That's what he was accustomed to. If you still don't feel like asking for apolozy, we certainly have to wait for your catastrophie to some of your loved ones and understand what we are suffering. If youl come to his funeral and ask for apolozy. That will be your apolozy. Otherwise, just get the hell out of sajha and stop polluting us. You are merely provoking my nepalese friends here in. jayamatadi

Well, it was not only him that made the mistake. I know there were two other cars being just as ignorant. I was a witness to the "race" and from what I saw, it didn't look good. Once I pulled up to the accident, a couple of miles later, I KNEW someone I saw earlier was involved some how. I can't tell you how many people I close to me dieing from accidents such as this. And, it seems to be when they (we) were younger and "indistructable?". I always wanted to ask them, "Was it worth it?". It just makes me soo mad that people take LIFE for granted and just throw it all away in one shot or one "race". From what I saw, I was mad, in shock, and scared at the same time. If everyone was subjected to that kind of mayhem that I saw, would probably wake them up to some instent. I guess, once you look death in the eye, it will change your life forever. I PROMISE! Probably why this bothered me soo much, is because of 2 close friends dieing from speeding and finding my mother in her car dead after 3 days of being in her car (hit by someone speeding). If that doesn't explain where I'm coming from, then I don't know what to tell ya.
