White: Take on the Castle at e5 with the Qeen.
Black: Will take on the Queen with it's another Castle from d5 to e5.
White: Move the Pawn from b3 to b4.

That should do the job, right ?

no, if you take the castee as mentioned the black bishop @ g3 can take the white queen

my solution:
1) white rook h7 X e7

a) black anything other than rook d5-d6 or d5-d7
2) white rook e7-c7 checkmate

b) black rook d5-d6 or d5-d7
2) white pawn b3-b4 checkmate

.
i see another possible black move besides the above..
suppose, after my step 1)
c) black rook e5X e6 (the other rook)
then 2) white knight d4 X e6 checkmate

.solution to sujan's is pretty simple
1) rook e7Xf7 check
if king runs away to g8, then knight to e7 checkmate in 2,
therefore k x f7
2) queen f4 check
the king can now move either to g6 or g8, but in either case,
3) kight e7 checkmate

for the previous one:

Not possible in 2 moves.

Because.

If White Queen moves (cannot check) other than e4 and g6, which makes no sense, because Qe4 will follow with Bxe4 and Qf6 will follow with d2, then Black Pawn will xc2+ making mate impossible in 2 moves, or Pawn can still, in any case when no check, d2 and threaten promotion to queen

except, Rxe7 threatening Rc7++, then
still no check, Black will definitely Rxf5, by which it will control the the entire diagonal with bishop on dark square. Any other cheks that follow, cannot mate or stalemate.

unless, Bxd5 then Black will Bxd5, still can't mate in 2

there are two pieces that can check the king in the first move. Rc6 or Rb5. But both results in loss of Rook, and the next move of white can't mate. also, if Rc6, then Kb4 will protect it from mate in next move. White pawn can b4 and check. But with Kc4, Black can't be mated in the next move.

if Rd6, then either Kxd6 or d2 prevent mate in 2.

if white plays xd3, then Nxd3, can't mate in next move.
the bishop in dark square is prety much doing nothing. the pawn in e3 can go to e4, then Bxe4 and still can't mate in next move.

White Knight doesn't have any save square to movet to.

so, i think mate in 2 is exaggerate. anyone with any other thoughts

Mate in 3 or 4 is possible though

1. Pe4 Rxe4
2. Qxd5++

1. Pe4 Rd6/7/8 or Rxd4
2. b4++

1. Pe4 xc2
2. Nxc2 + (Black should resign here)

1. Pe4 d2
2. Ne2 + (Black should resign here)

1. Pe4 Bf2
2. Bxf2 (Black should resign here)

danah,
based on your assumption K d4 xPd3 is valid. hence no check mate he he he

no offense but why black king move from c4 to d4. white pawn on e3. its guarding d4 and f4

unless i am getting this board reversed. but right hand side white square means white pawn moves from 2 to 8 ....

here is the modified. i.e actual solution.
1. B g8 XQd5
2. P c6 XBd5

1. Q e8 b5 (CHECK MATE )
