Just to let u know that,

NST  SUCKS big time,

Today I went to this party, and there were SO MANY people,

BUT

Only about 150 people got the food, and about 1100 people are still in Line,  to eat dashain bhoj,

I escaped that place, I went to see Deepak bajracharya concert, but management was so bad, and even Deepak Was pissed with the management,

TOO many JPT people in Dallas, and there were like 10 Cops everywhere for the security, Now i am 100% sure that tomorrow we have to hear some bad news, one more time nepali with fight there,

Poor family members and kids, standing in Line to eat food for 3 hours, and still they are standing,

WTF is this ?????

 

I think Duke is just trying to be smart out here. First of all, being a nepali by heart, most people do not want to miss out on these gatherings. Second, you expect there to be enough food and other stuff for you have paid for it. Third, this program was not organized by a single person as such but by  a society. So, naturally you expect there to be a good management. Having carried out several such gatherings in the past, the management should have estimated the number of participants well.

Now, where the heck do you see irrationality out here? Where does the logic go wrong? I have read several of your comments Duke, and I admit, some of your comments are good but this one was just uncalled for. I think, actually, I strongly think you should apologize for calling others stupid and irrational.

having been to few of this event in few different locations , its not worth it, un less you want to pick up a old fight or see the same fellows u hang out with.

Secondly , if you are so fond of nepalese why don't u go back to nepal, we need lots of presidents , associations over there not here.  All this wanna  be's .

But hey i have no problem if you want to be presidend  or minister but i can asure you being a nepali , no f' kin person (nepali) in america will be my president  .

Total number of votes casted in each category:

President: 842

Vice President: 788

Sec: 816

Treasurer: 766

 

Why more votes for one category and less for others?  If you do go to polls, how hard it is to vote for candidates in each category.

Could there be some counting error, intentional or unintentional, in tallying the votes? Assuming there were 842 total voters, and the difference in the total votes in each category is not that big anyway, there should not be any reason to get alarmed about this. However, the difference in the total votes between the winner (411)and the runner-up (355) for the post of Treasurer is less than the difference in the maximum total votes (842) and the total votes received for the post of Treasurer (766). If I were a runner-up for the post of Treasurer, I would at least raise the issue to the appropriate committee.

 

And, why there are only two women (except the Asst. Treasurer) in the committee? Shouldn’t they have greater representation?

Just a quick question...Is there any qualification requried to run for president or any of these posts or anyone can run for it?

No Qualification required not even a GED to become president in any Nepali Organization.

Before RC Pokhrel’s wining, idiot Nepali election analysts predicted that he would lose. Other candidates were throwing away parties to attract voters many times. Spending huge sum of money on the name of different occasion to get vote. He was quietly campaigning simple way. Probably, that’s why voters believed him and won the election. Now, people are raising his qualification and counting errors as issue. Before asking his qualification, check your qualification and grades to challenge him. Otherwise, you would lose one time out. 

Yo TMobile...read carefully, I never asked specifically his or any one's qualification. I just asked if there is any requirement to run for the president..So, before you spit out whatever comes in your head, re-read it and then only write..TMobile..anyway...that company sucks like you do..
