That Sonoma, CA team was actually a NY team that had to register under Sonoma (only one of their players was from there) as there were already 3 NY teams registered for the competition and the organizers didn't allow any more NY teams to take part. So, once again as per my previous post, no Cali team has ever taken part...barring last year's farce.

Samsara, the dunking donut comment was funny as hell. You know something... I bet one of those Volley Ball dudes could probably dunk if they tried. They have some serious vertical. Maybe that big guy from Dallas who had "Shaq" written on his jersey... he could probably dunk.

BigBaller, New York is a pretty good team. Its just a matter of time before they start cutting the heads of the bigger teams like Dallas and DC. The losing record really does nt not do justice to how they play. They still made it to the semis last year and had DC shitting in their pants for the majority of the game. I was rooting for them to win coz I like the under dog teams that play with a lot of heart, but they just could not sustain it for the entire game.

Now, for Lurey's duncanobili thing... man thats a bad advertising on your part... i think ana needs more in side players... not TALL players, but inside players... let me explain... most of the tall guys on all the teams are all stiffs anyway, so even if u are smaller than 5 10, you can easily get to the basket.. it amazes my why there is such an emphasis on height... hell, if u are small, you have an advantage... u can be fast and out run the taller and uncoordinated stiffs... but sadly, the popular belief seems to be that ... if u are small, you shoot 3's... and if u are tall, you just bang in the paint... whatever happened to an inside out game??

No, what I am saying is, your game has to be an advantage... whether you are tall or not really does not matter... say for example, if you are shorter than the defender, then you most likely have an advantage of driving by him... in a sense you both have a height advantage... just depends on how you use it... take a guy like barkley... he is shorter than MJ, but he played the power forward position... it was such a mis match... anyone taller than him, he would use his speed... anyone his height or shorter he would post-up with his strength... another example... not a lot of people realize how short karl malone was too... like 6 7, same height as scottie pippen... but he played so big...

you have to have a well balanced team....tall players who can grab that rebound block shots etc...shorter players who are more agile and fast those who can hussle... nowadays only height does not matter.

You are still not getting my point. Yes you are right. you have to have a balanced team but that does not mean that you don't go for a physical where they measure your height and weight. They do. Playing however depends on your skill set and not your height. however everybody will want to know how tall you are.
