Avinash Bajracharya, a current UTA student and an alumnus of St. Xaviers School Class of 2000 got involved in a car accident this morning around 11am and was pronounced dead by paramedics on the way to the hospital.
He was a good friend, great scholar and a very humble person. May his soul rest in peace after his untimely demise.

His kins have been notified. Hyde, i understand we all have enemies. But we should not let our enemies restrain us from extending our condolences when we have lost someone close. His family needs support from all of us.

A really sad news. May his soul rest in peace. Though I was not in friendly terms with him, I have seen him around time and again. He was a very nice person.

He was my batch mate at STX and had met him during the summer in the US as well. I'm extremely shocked about this news. It's to the point that it's unbelievable. Rest in Peace, Abhinash.

Yes..he was the same Avinash Bajracharya with the long hair..sometimes he highlighted it blonde. A+ student..a very nice person. Eventhough we were not too close, i know him and his family well. Its a terrible loss. I cannot imagine the amount of pain and grief that have overcome in his family. My heartfelt condolences to his entire family and friends. I pray that god provides us all..espc. his family with the power to bear this sorrowful and untimely departure. His body is still in the hospital and the details are unclear because they wouldnt release any information to anyone except his family members, or someone authorized. Thus we are waiting for his sister to arrive so that we can proceed further. May his soul rest in peace. I hope i wont offend anyone by saying this but even though this is a very unfortunate loss..i believe he is in a much much better place now. God Bless

sunkoshi,
he is the same guy. you remember he used to live with aakas in hill crest apartment. he sometimes used to make blonde hair. He is sooooooooooo nice man. i can't imagine. He used to come to my apartment everyday coz we used to live together in arlington. He used to everything in hurry and had little crazy driving only, other than that he is so sweet. whoever he talks, makes them friend right away.
god bless his soul

Arlington man dies after racing wreckBy PAUL BOURGEOIS
Star-Telegram Staff Writer
An Arlington man who apparently was racing another vehicle on Texas 360 died Sunday when his car smashed into the rear of a sport utility vehicle.

Avinash Bajracharya, 22, was driving a 2007 Scion at a "very high speed" when the crash occurred about 10:20 a.m. at Riverside Parkway.

Police said the car was northbound on Texas 360 and swerving through traffic when it hit a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, causing the car to spin out of control, hit a retaining wall and flip twice.

Bajracharya was partially ejected. He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where he died at 12:22 p.m.

The driver of the Avalanche, a 63-year-old Arlington man, was not injured.

Witnesses reported that Bajracharya was racing another car on the freeway at the time of the crash.

The other car is described as either a gray Audi (possibly a TT or an R8) or a Nissan 350Z.

Anyone with information about this car is asked to call the Grand Prairie Police Department Traffic Division at 972-237-8906.

This is the fourth traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
