School start hunu bhanda agadi bihana bunch of stx guys threw a rose on sms ko building( nirmal school tira ko side ko building) n the rose hit the window of my clss 9 “A” n miss uma subba came to knw abt it then she rushed to principal marget’s office ani ta hangama suru… stx guys sucked @ targeting well they did they were suppose to throw the rose at clss 9 “B” but A ma lagyo assembly ma sab clss 9 ko kt haru lai rakera devan anjana le bhasan deko “if u guys r so desperate go make a line @ street I am sure there are lots of road side romeos” re lol everyone was trying not to laugh their ass off. Ajja stx ko tyo bokas haru lai sms lerako lol prici talked to them n warned them not to hit sms grls hahaha it was hilarious

its not they are not concerned about politics or situation in nepal. as every other nepalese they are concerned. but they abstain from active main stream politics.. because they come from mostly MIDDLE CLASS. and for middle class its always about "ghar chalaune".

If i/we had the luxury of urs then u wud see. Just writing 2/3 sentences about what might be and contempletion about the country does not make anyone a political pundit

I don't understand why are you taking whatever I said negatively. If everyone starts going to mainstream politics leaving their jobs behind, then I don’t know what would happen to future of Nepal :P Middle class - I don’t know which range you categorize as middle class.

I would say the ones at bottom of the scale don’t have the luxury to participate in politics of Nepal, because they are concerned about their daily bread. When strikes occur, the daily bread earners are the ones who get hurt the most…needless to say why.

The rich ones are too indulged upon their own luxury to think about anybody else. Only now have they become concerned, as Maoists started targeting them. The rich ones aren’t the ones likely to walk on strikes, unless he/she is knowledgeable and is passionate about the country. So now, whatever is left is the middle class.

I don’t consider myself to be a political pundit, if you think I boast to be so. I am simply a person, who speaks her mind and is tuned with the news in Nepal. I think it’s the confidence that lets one talk about anything (not only politics) and confidence needless to say, is gained from information readily available from the world-wide-web and ability to rationalize matters without having prejudices.

we have totally different view of thing. Middle class do not involve in POLITICS because they have just barely enough which they cannot afford to lose. They are risk averse hard working people..

now in any political change its the rich and the poor who will be actively involved. Do not believe me .. then look @ any revolution.. POWERFUL and the RICH tries to hold on the POWER. and POOR are the one REVOLTING. .. middle class are squezzed in the middle...
that's the fact... and one thing you always need to remember POWERFUL AND RICH ALWAYS PROTECT EACH OTHER.. no matter what their political views and standing might be. All politicians are chameleons.. for their personal benefits they will change color in a second... to put it bluntly they are the pimps.

your view is consistent with the neo-riches. who tries to drive/influence the outcome of the system with the so called wealth and I KNOW EVERYTHING THAT happens in home country [ in this case NEPAL] . although I have been in NEPAL for probably 2 weeks in a whole year. Out of remaining 50 i am in WESTERN country.. making $$$$ and living in a bunglow.. or alike houses.. i have a luxury class upscale vehicle et al... but i am a virtuoso in what goes on NEPAL because I AM UPTO DATE WITH THE INTERNET NEWS SITE (nepalnews; kantipuronline, parewa)... Common, that's not how it works. Do not tell me the hard life of nepalese please. because i represent those middle class hard working family.

HAVE YOU EVER WORKED 12 HRS IN THE SUN IN THE FIELD. "dhan ropna ko lagi halo chalau nu bha chha.. bauso, kodalo ko difference tha chha? " probably u do not know what "halo" is hoina ta... tehi bhaneko... bhaat khana ko lagi dasain kurnu pareko thiyo hajurlai? u cannot be an expert in how difficult that lifestyle is until u r in that yourself...

so basically, i despise all those hypocritical political to be aspiring rantings...

lets get to ur numbers. 25% of those full scholorships from various DISTRICTS... how many really deserved it based on their need. U know and i know it was NEED BASED. hoina ta...
i can gurantee that out of those 25 full scholorships only 4 or 5 genuinly deserved it. rest had homes in KTM. they used to go to their home in KTM hoina ra.. hajur le pani dheknu bha thiyo maile pani dhekeko thiye... Is there any doubt?

BUT I REALLY DO NOT CARE WHO GOT IT. only reason i brought it up to point your confinement of view.

Thanks for giving the long answer it, was quite informative :D. I am not advocating anyone here to go back to Nepal and work in the fields (I’m not taking your words literally). After all, at the current situation, the best thing that one can do for the country is send money to the country. But why would it hurt to talk about the information we get from the media and try to analyze it? Somebody just said that it doesn’t help the country. But why would anyone just bear with the unclear event that is so confusing? Isn’t it a human nature to try to find out the truth?

Well in some way, I don’t regret generalizing the students. If I hadn’t, I probably wouldn’t have gotten any response from you :P. But it would have been nice if sms girls also participated.:D

And about the numbers, I felt like giving it after you showered me with the stx facts :P

nepal gets enough money as remittance from ppl who are working in Arab countries... money sent from north america is so infinitesimal that it does not even make sense. Actually more money is brought to NA from Nepal than sent there... it really shows where u belong.. about ur facts... dispute what i mentioned then we can have better arguments....

otherwise please do those analysis and give us some information about ur utopian dreams... u need to come out of ur shell and accept that world is not exactly that egg (O:
