i will tell u my story.. i love him but sooner or later one of us is gonna end of cheating or dumping the other one.. . not very optimistic but i am just being true.. i dont' know how ppl do it.. it's been 2 yrs now and it's getting worse not because of lack of love or understanding well that too but mostly because one is not available for the other..... it hasn't worked for me in the past but we'll see what happens..
here is my serious advice - DO NOT go for a long distance relationship, it's difficult even when it's working... .

Snurp, I like your notion of long distance relationship..sausage stays frozen in the freezer but doughnuts dont( have to be eaten by someone before they get too stale and musty)

Anyway long distance relationships is lethal, waste of time, money and mental energy.

Anyway those who have survived this kind of relationships are indeed the lucky ones..99% failure rate based on my experience (but well bhadog ma aakha futeko goru le sabai hariyo dekhchan bhancha so anyway i dont want to be dead judgemental about it.)

Anyway enjoy life,,it's not worth wasting fretting over things that dont work..what am i saying ##!#$@#$%^%^%^% i dont know

Long Distance relationship..

Ask yourself first if you really love her or him...
Money and time are second thing...
and Keep the word....
Donot give up...
somehow there will be a bridge built for you....

When there is a will, there will be a way!!

I and my wife had this long distance continental love for years.Does not matter how far it is, you feel as close as you warm glove if it is a true love.12,000 Km love is of course expensive. There was no internet, no messenger and no VOIP that time.
We spent thousands of dollars on phone. One minute call was 295 Rupees
One dollar was 42 Rupees. That means almost 7 dollars per minute. Who would call today for 7 dollars per minute? It was not that easy to call overseas. To call overseas is a whole day business. You go to tripureshor Telegraph office and wait there hours until you get contact with your friend. The best time to call was in the night.I went there some time even with sleeping bag.
We are still together and having lots of fun...

I'm living a long distance relationship is not easy but not imposible to handle, the most important in this matter is love, trust and understanding. If the commitment that you have is important for both. And for me and my gf it is very valuable. Just don't give up.

I totally agree with no one....
coming from an experience, long distance relationships don't work out...
So before u get in too deep...u move or make him/her move, that is if u truly LOVE that person :P

It worked for me! I married after three years. Although I must admit, spent loads of money on phone calls. But, worth it. Never liked messenger, it was too frustating, you never understood the motive /tone of the other person. So, it does work sometimes, but it all depends on the people involved. Good luck to all who are in it and plan to further your relationship.

If your relationship is about suasage and donut then long distance work. But if it is about commitment then you will fly through the difficult years and be together again. Distance makes hreates grow fonder and patience is very fruitful. I'm talking from experince. But it all depends on how commited, turthful, loyal, etc you are with each other. Trust me its better to wait for the right person to get married rather then looking for another which may or may not be a good fit. It's a gamble that way buddy!!

Now you decide!! The ball is in your court..........

i loved her dearly
more than anything
said she loved me
missed me
everyday on the phone
left my friends and my family for her
went there to be with her
only to know that she has been cheating
since the beginning
and still wanted to be with me.
i said goodbye
now am happier than ever,
better single and happy
than be with some one
unfaithful and untrustworthy.

Has it worked for anyone (guys) when your "girlfriend" slipped off to free society United States when you were still living in "not so free" Nepal.

hey guys, why do you always label girls as cheaters?
whe it's the guys that cheat most of the time.but well lets say, everyone's equal.there comes a time when you have someone in your heart but you can't help but look forward to seeing someone else that passes by you or is in your class.
we all r the same yaaro.
talkin' abt myself,i've been in a relationship for the last 4 yrs and know what we've been separated ever since we started the relationship.not even a date have i been to.still,i'm clinging to the last straw.the bottom line is "I DON WANNA GIVE UP" N LET THE WORLD LAUGH @ MY RELATIONSHIP AS A FAILURE.
"out of sight, out of mind" n separation makes the hearts grow fonder" these 2 r true and yet conflict with each other.
although our emails have reduced fromm everyday to once a month,i'm still in the hope of the day we'll be reunited.
love u dear.

long distance relationship does work but it all depends on the people if they really in love with each other or not.
