It's almost March Maddness. Any College Hoops Fan knows what Arizona Basketball is all about and this is the game nobody should miss this week.

An Arizona win would give Coach Lute Olson his 305th Pac-10 victory, a conference record. Coach O tied former UCLA legend coach John Wooden with 304 victories on Thursday.

Arizona and Washington square off for the Pac-10 title Saturday afternoon and is on the verge of a season sweep for the Arizona Wildcats and their 24th league title.

Don't miss it; it's gonna be a game worth watching.

I used to be big Khalid Reeves fan, it's unfortunate that he didn't have great pro career. 1997 Wildcatas roster with Simon, Terry, Bibby, Dickerson, Bramlett and Davison was awesome :=)

Arizona Wildcats will prevail and clinch the Pac-10 regular season title outright by beating the Washington Huskies, padding its resume for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Watch out for these players today in the Cats Roster:
a) Salim Stoudamire's 3 pointers ( the best shooter in the nation)
b) Channing Frye's Block shots and his inside presence
c) Hassan Adams's Alley Hoop Dunks
d) Mustafa Shakur's Assists and his defence
e) Ivan Radenovic 's Rebounds
and of course the presence and depth of the BENCH.

Lastly the best and most influential Wildcats so far has been non other than the superb, the great SEAN ELLIOT. Steve Kerr shouldn't be excluded either.

Sailu, with no doubt in my mind, Wildcats are playing their best game. They are ranked 5th in the power ranking. Todays game at Pullman is gaining the national attention and will be the toughest game of PAC-10 conference. Salim, who has earned a reputation even from the Dukie Dick(Dick Vitale), is playing lights last 10 or more games setting a school record in # of 3-pointer. Wildcats are peaking at the right time. For the Wildcats, a victory today will clinch the conference championship, regardless of how they do next week in the regular-season finale at ASU. It also would complete a regular-season sweep of Washington.
In my watch list are the Hot Sauce(Adams) and J-Mac. Their win today will rock the desert in Tucson and clear their way to St.Louis come March madness.

Unpredictable March Madness! There is so much hoop on that...it is hard not to be excited about it (however, some thinks it?s a sissy game;)) ...Wolfpack pulled thru late in the season but grabbed the spot n safely made it into the Sweet 16! Defending national champ Connecticut sure was a big deal.... I say, UNC and NCSU get through to the final... it wud be like foes met in a regional final!

since Tar Heels and Wolfpacks are in the Syracuse bracket, only one team can reach the final four. One of those team may face Duke, another powerhouse from NC.

I picked North Carolina to win the tourney. Coach Williams must be happy with his decision to leave KU program.Texas Tech would be my 2nd choice :=)

About Lute Olson, once he said. ?We never recruit the great players who are questionable people. Hopefully, they will be great players as well.? His unique recruiting program give his players the right to agree or disagree the potential recruit. My two cents.

sailu, you are right. sean elliot is the most famous player to come out of AZ. sean elliot and i even had the same gym and math teacher back in high school. of course, i came around much later. don't forget steve karr.

AX, i still know the starting five of the 1997 team by heart. i was a freshman then. i don't know what happened to miles simon. he was good. the victory over the kentucky wildcats was one of the best NCAA games. it went to over time and all our 8 points, most of them by donnal harris, came from the free throw line. we were not even expected go to the final four that year. in fact, olson had planed a vacation in mexico but he had to cancel the trip beacuse we went deep into the tourament.

if we beat olkahoma, we will have the momentum needed going into elite eight. one little stat for you college basketball fan, never in NCAA history have all number one team gone to the final four. thus i strongly feel that at least one of the number one team will not make it to final four.

Stats on Wildcats Opponent: JamesOn Curry (freshman guard) who pleaded guilty of 6 felony count in a drug sting is a potential starter for the Thursday?s game to Oklahoma State. Utah State?s David Pak (point guard) served 8 years in prison for a rape charge before playing wildcats last Thursday. We have nothing in common. Hats off to great Coach O( though his two high profile recruits Damon Stoudamire, Ben Davis had off-court issues and were considered the victim of the circumstances instead.) Lizardking was right about the uniqueness of Coach O.

Wildcats were never overrated throughout the season neither was Pac-10. 2 out of 4 teams who had double digit victory margin in the first two round games were Pac-10 representatives. I still could not find a reason why Ax had doubt on multitalented Wildcats in their first game against Utah State. Give me a good reason and trust me I will help you.
Coach O has atleast one more win to add in his resume by the end of this season and I bet they have a game to beat struggling Illinois.

Blue Devils are always favourite so they will be on FINAL FOUR.... but BEING A CHAMPION, they really need to work hard. But i still support the COACH K AND BLUE DEVILS.
