Okay, bros and pros, when can we expect to apply for new EAD, now that the Nepal TPS case will be treated same as Haiti.

When can we start applying for new EAD?
Anything that we need to do differently then we did last time?
If you have applied for one, what did you do?

::: We/I know that current EAD will extended automatically and no need to apply but having a new Expiry date will get us peace of mind, who are employed, and will allow others to have at least something tangible on hand that has not expired yet.

For anyone who is opening this thread for more information; we have to wait until a notice is published on federal register. Keep your eyes peeled. Tentative date for the notice is MAY 10th.

Please wait for the official notice from the USCIS before applying. For EAD renewal, it might be an automatic renewal as other existing countries have such as Haiti, Sudan and El Salvador.... @ AJ Joshi- Daju with due respect, better do not try to mislead other people..

ALERT: The termination of TPS for Nepal and Honduras will not go into effect until further notice. As required by the court-approved stipulation in Bhattarai v. Nielsen, No. 19-cv-731 (N.D. Cal), USCIS will extend appropriate TPS-related documentation (Employment Authorization Documents; Forms I-797, Notice of Action; and Forms I-94, Arrival/Departure Record) for eligible beneficiaries of TPS Honduras and TPS Nepal similar to the way it has for the TPS beneficiaries in Ramos v. Nielsen, No. 18-cv-01554 (N.D. Cal), a case that challenges the terminations of TPS for Sudan, Nicaragua, Haiti, and El Salvador. The terminations of TPS for Nepal and Honduras will not go into effect while appeals are pending in Ramos, a case that presents similar issues to those presented in Bhattarai.

@ajoshi ji but that is just an alert if you go to Hait, El Salvador they have an updated federal notice which has the dates of their ead extensions. But they haven't updated on Nepal's one yet

If you also check the section TPS continued through: Haiti, El Salvador ko ma :As long as preliminary injunction ordered by court in Ramos, et al v. Nielsen, et al., No. 18-cv-01554 (N.D. Cal. Oct. 3, 2018) remains in effect. Where as nepal ko ma they haven't updated that either, so like Adhikaar team said we need to wait for the Federal notice

I have not seen anywhere that USCIS has told that to apply for the renewal..... USCIS said that it shall extend.... I would not try to be over smart until official notice comes.

No need to apply anything. A notice in federal register will automatically extended ead and tps. You only have to apply for AP if you want.
