All my housemates have gone home for Christmas and New Year. I am left alone in the whole flat. The flat looks cold and lonely now but its not that bad at all. There are some upsides to it too, like........

1.I can use the bathroom and shower without locking it from the inside.


2.The kitchen is all mine

3. So is the sink. I can pile up all the utensils i can there.

4.I dont have to tiptoe to my room at the middle of the night.Hiro Hiralal jasari hidincha achel ta.

5. I dont get disturbed in my sleep nowadays.

6.The fridge and the freezer is all mine.

7. Noone nicks my milk or vodka anymore

8. I can walk from the bathroom to my room naked now :) (after I check that there are no hidden cameras)

9. I can sing with my guitar at 3 am if i so wish without having anyone banging on my door to shut the f*** up.

10. If i get really lucky on coming saturday night, I dont have to worry about the noise from my room disturbing others.

11. If my cooking triggers off the fire alarm, I dont have to give a damn about rushing and dezctivating it. I can take my time.

12.If I push teh comode plate up, its still up until i pull it down again. Man, what a feeling.

Its definitely not that bad being home alone.

Anyone care to share their feelings?

Same here, JB...my roomate left and I am having the best time of my life.. I walk naked around the apartment (but first, I make sure that the blinds are closed) then I can ghankao my nepalese music anytime. Since I am the only one in the whole building, I feel invincible... feels like I own this place..and what I like most is I don't have to knock on my own door before getting in like I had to do before cuz of my roommate and her bf. I haven't cleaned dishes since she left and I am not gonna wash them until the sink gets full or till I don't have any more dishes left to use. It's not that I don't like her, but being alone just feels so good.
Wow! Christmas time is fun..I wish my roommate went away more often...hehehe

So glad to know that "running naked around house" is in your priority list.Well, I don't need to wait for Christmas for that to happen.

On a serious note, if only I was anywhere near US, we could organize a competition as to who could pile up the dishes higher on the sink.

BTW, did I mention that I have also stolen or rather 'put to good use' the milk from my housemates. Anyways that would have gone sour by the time they returned :)

Hahahaha.. I am doing the same.. I am eating all her food, her juice, milk, butter, bread anything that's perishable. It's gonna go bad anyway since she's coming back after 3 weeks only. So, it's been great.. I am saving some of my grocery money.. and I don't feel bad for doing that cuz she's in Florida having fun with her bf and her family.. so yup, i am having a blast..

~ Not having to worry abt your pooh lil' doggie, being alone wiht your flatmate's Undertaker bf.

~ No more DVDs/CDs frm your private collection, disappearing and/or appearing full of scratches.

~ Not having to wash everything, each time u want to use sum utensil.

~ yeah, and that walking-around-wearing-whatever-u-please thingie too. Tho not necessarily Naked ! Tehehe .
