I am looking for a cheap or better, free video editing software that will help me edit my video. I do have the basic one that comes with the camcorder but I need a better one that will let me, say, move or interpolate subjects from still images or do some cool stuff! I hope your genius will help me!

try Adobe Premiere.. go to adobe's website and sign up fot the account.. then download the trial.. 30 days should be enough to finish ur project i guess... sony Vegas and Pinnacle are also good....

Thanks! I appreciate your suggestions. I need to either change the heads or positions of subjects (people in group) in a short video. Do you know which one--Adobe premier, sony vegas, or simply windows movie maker--might let me do that? I have a short video. Waiting for your replies! Thanks!!

r u saying that u want the people in the video to have a different head and have them in different places aswell? If it is so, then movie maker and cheap stuffs wont do it. You need the video shot in a green screen, then you need to digitze the video and then, you need sony vegas or final cut pro or adobe after effects. and then you need to key out its colour. It isnt easy for people who doesnt know much abt softwares.
