They will get it unless they (childrens) are over 21 years old.

It's kinda shame that this question is not receiving any answer when there are thousands of Nepali asylees in the usa now. i think they'll get visa if the children are under the age of 21 and unmarried. sometimes they might do dna test but most of the time they don't. common trend is about 3-5 months to get visa issued. they'll get derivative asylee status and can work live like asylees. . this is from what i've heard so don't count me for it.

thank you rahashya and dyamn  for your posts, but you two have just given the contradictory answers. rahashya said: the children should be 21 and above but dyamn said: they should be under 21. Am i right understanding you two? like dyamn said, i was expecting lots of people's post for this topic. Please people dont hesitate to share your experience. thank you.

Your question isn't clear. What are you saying? That your uncle has filed for Asylee relative status? or a regular visa?

he went there in regular business visa. filed asylee and get that (according to him) i dont have much knowledge abt that and writting like he said. now he send letters to his family which he got from immigration office u.s.a. his family has already applied for that visa here at kathmandu u.s embassy. they have said they will call his family by taking forms that she filled and submitted to the office. anyone with similar situation may have understood the circumstances. so i was asking about that. Thank you.

Dyamn, I understand simply that the children should be under 21 and unmarried from both of you.

csz5s ( kasto ghanta jasto nickname ho yo btw? No offense),

You aren't understanding me! You don't need to tell me how or why your uncle got his asylum. You said he's already received full approval right? If yes, then did he already file for Asylee family petition ( I 730 )? Find that out and I'll be able to help you more.

wth is an asylee visa? From my understanding, it can take anywhere from 6 months to several years before the family asylee petition gets approved. One of my co-workers had his asylum approved 2 years ago and he's not received the approval yet. Once it gets approved, it normally takes about 3-4 months for the embassy to issue a visa.
